I'm in Minnesota for a business trip - 1 solid week of training for my new dual leadership role. I'll now head up our customer service team in Alaska and be on the team in Minnesota that handles escalated issues. Two jobs in one. I'll have to work on balancing the responsibilities of both roles. It's going to be a challenge - but I'm up for it.
I'm really missing my husband. He was a sweetie - he called ahead to a girlfriend I was hooking up with in Minnesota and asked her to give me a red rose from him. Imagine that - I get off the plane and there's Dear Friend with red rose from my DH. I e-mailed him a hug.
Gotta run and get ready for work!
