Well thanks to my cousin at Harmony in Motion - I'm IT!
1. Why did you start blogging? Hmm. Well - I was trying to connect to family and friends far away actually - my cousin Becki and my Aunt Judi had their own blogs that I loved to read so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
2. If you could travel any where in the world with no restriction of costs, where would it be and why? I think I'd buy a ship and sail round the world and just put in to port where ever I wanted to stop.
3. Did you have a teacher in school that had a great influence on your life? If so, what? There has certainly been more than one - after all I became a teacher as a result ... I loved school ... it was my safe haven. I don't think I could name just one - but the one who's influenced me the most would be my college friend who still teaches today - Sue - she rocks and is the most amazing person! I could call her anytime I needed an idea in my own teaching.
4. If you could spend the day with a famous person, who would it be, and what would you do? Honestly, if I could - I'd just spend the day with family and friends far away - just catch up - enjoy how we've grown and changed.
5. Toilet paper — over or under? One over and one off the holder - hubby prefers to have his TP loose and free.
6. Name one thing in your life that you would do over if possible. I'd have to agree with my cousin on this one - while there were definitely some things I'd do differently with hind sight - at the time I made those decisions with the experience i had then - I would have done it all the same way.
7. Tell about your pets — if any. Aw... this one hurts. We were a family of 4 cats - we now only have 3 - Gadget crossed over the rainbow bridge on Labor Day. It still makes me cry. We have remaining a 16 year old orange tabby male short haired cat named Fidget but he goes by Tom. We have a 7 year old black/gray tabby named Momma Kitty - she's our streetsmart cat - we imagine her in leather and spikes - don't mess with her. And we have her daughter - a 6 year old light gray tabby named Sissy - she's curious, shy, and playful. Midget, Gidget, Widget, and Gadget are all waiting on the other side.
8. Do you live in a small town or a large town. (You don’t have to name the town.) I live in Anchorage, Alaska - a medium city in a large state.

I'm so sorry you lost your dear kitty Gadget... :-( (S)he'll be meeting up with lots of other sweet, loving friends over the rainbow bridge.
I love reading these memes ... you learn so much. And, it reminds me that I was supposed to do this one too. :)
